Airport Operations
The Aurukun Shire Council owns and operates the aerodrome facilities in Aurukun. The aerodrome was certified on 20 June, 2008 and also has certification for CASR part 139 Category. The airport is located at Lat -13.3539 Long 141.720993. The International Air Transport Association Code (IATA) for the airport is AUU. The International Civil Aviation Organisation Code is YAUR.
