Aurukun Supermarket (operated by Island & Cape) is located near the Council Chambers at 506 Kang Kang Road and carries a range of food and supplies typical a regional store including groceries, milk, drinks, meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, camping equipment, fishing supplies, limited clothing and household goods.  Fuel is available from the retail fuel outlet on Kang Kang Road.

Monday-Tuesday: 8:30am – 5pm
Wednesday-Friday: 8:30am – 7pm
Saturday-Sunday: 9am – 3pm

If you are arriving in the community late in the afternoon you might not be able to purchase food before the Supermarket closes.  It is worthwhile to consider bringing some food with you.

The Kang Kang Café and Bakery operate out of the Sam Kerindun Snr Business Precinct Building, opposite the Council Chambers and serves fast food, drinks, coffee, pastries and cakes.
