Arts & Crafts Centre
Wik and Kugu Arts Centre
The Centre acknowledges the financial support from the Commonwealth (Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support) and State Governments.
Akay Aoilia Women’s Arts Centre
Since the opening of the new Women’s Arts Centre in August 2015, a new partnership with Cape York Employment has seen women of all ages accessing the centre for daily activities in creative industries.
The Women Centre with the support of Arts Queensland funding through their Backing Indigenous Arts Program, has established a series of skill set and professional development workshops that will help build both the capacity of the arts workers and the centre. The Commonwealth Government continue to assist our Akay Aoilia women’s artists.
