Thursday and Friday – 21 and 22 August
Mosquito fogging will be carried out in Aurukun on: Thursday 21 August – Friday 22 August 2025. This activity is part of Council’s ongoing public health and pest control efforts to reduce mosquito-borne illnesses.
What you need to do:
• Close all doors and windows during fogging times
• Secure pets indoors or in a safe area
• Cover or bring inside outdoor furniture, toys, pet food and water bowls
• Avoid direct exposure to the fogging mist
• Stay indoors if you have respiratory issues
